BRICKSTORY: Quicky was released in 2001 as part of two promotional poly bag sets in Germany (and then later in 2003 in New Zealand and Australia).  In conjunction with Nestle, the idea was to promote the New LEGO Studios line released in very late 2000, with most of the launch coming out in early 2001. It’s pretty hard to find sealed poly bags of those sets, but they are out there, earning it a 6 rating on the rare scale.  Quicky is a fairly unique minifigure and showcases what appears to be one of the early characters to be produced with a custom-molded head instead of the traditional studded LEGO head element – although LEGO had first started that back in 1999 with the Star Wars theme and figures like Jar Jar Binks in the 1999 set 7121 Naboo Swamp. But in actuality, Quicky had a standard head element with creepy eyes that peered through was was really a rabbit head piece that fit over the head element. Either way, Quicky is Cool!
