At Bricknowlogy – and with your support – we worked hard to adapt to new regulations, keep all of our staff employed, and secure as much product as possible to help provide in-home activities and healthy distractions for our customers. In late-March of 2020, we launched our online store along with curb-side pickup and in-state shipping. Through your continued support, we were able to keep our staff fully employed and maintain operations under modified procedures. This allowed us to make large, advanced product purchases that helped mitigate the impact when LEGO shut down their factories in April for 10 weeks. Because of all of you who shopped local businesses during this crisis, we were able operate throughout 2020 without any labor cuts or layoffs of any kind. This also allowed us to continue to contribute to our local and state economy through tax payments (sales tax and property tax), rent, insurance, supplies, shipping, and utilities. All of this helps to keep our community strong – and we sincerely thank you for that. Even if you don’t shop with us – we ask that you please keep your purchases local and do what you can to support all small businesses. That remains a key component to economic freedom and independence.
